This year’s cup, decorated with the work of Rafał Olbiński, reflects our approach to creating products. Like Master Olbiński, we attach great importance to detail, striving for harmony of form, the highest quality of workmanship and aesthetics that please the eye. The cup is unique, elegant and unrepeatable – it is a perfect complement to our vision of functional aesthetics.
Rafał Olbiński – a master of symbolism and surrealism
Rafał Olbiński is an outstanding Polish artist whose name is known all over the world. Born in Kielce, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology in 1969. His talent was quickly noticed on the international art scene. This resulted in numerous publications in prestigious magazines such as Newsweek , Time and the New York Times .
Olbiński’s work includes posters, illustrations, scenography and painting. His works adorn the collections of many world institutions, including the New York City Opera and the Pompidou Centre in Paris. His style, full of symbolism, subtle irony and deep references to human nature, invariably delights and inspires.
Art in everyday life
We are not art creators, but we treat its presence as an inspiration in our work. We believe that beauty should be part of everyday life, which is why both our windows and collector’s cups are created with the idea of not only fulfilling their function, but also arousing emotions and inspiring.
This year’s collector’s cup, available exclusively from us, is a nod to art and a tribute to those who value aesthetics in everyday life. We hope that it will not only be an elegant addition, but also a symbol of our common path to perfection.
